Makeup Routine
Hey Y’all! I’m hoping to start being more personal on my blog and putting out more lifestyle content in addition to fashion and interior design! I want to give y’all as much content as possible! I’ve been asked to share a makeup routine for a while now, and right now, it is a pretty solid routine, so I decided to share my routine step by step! I’ve loved makeup for so many years now, but it kind of fell off of my radar for a while. I’ve been starting to get back into caring and trying out new products lately and I’ve definitely missed it!
The Routine:
I always start out with a primer! I recommend using a water-based primer for dry/ normal skin & a silicone-based primer for oily skin (and make sure your foundation matches which ever base)! I use a water-based primer even though I have oily skin. Only because my fave foundation is water based! I use the E.L.F Poreless Putty Primer!
I then apply the Wet n’ Wild Dewy Photo Focus Foundation. I usually use either a Beauty Blender or a Real Techniques Beauty Sponge to apply!
I apply the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer where it’s needed.
I use the Wet n’ Wild cream contour to contour my face and nose.
Set with the Laura Mercier Translucent powder and start on the brows!
I use the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade to fill in my brows with an angled brush.
I set them using the Benefit Brow Conditioner.
I use whatever eyeshadow palette I feel like using, if any. I typically use colors from the Huda Beauty Light Nude Palette, Morphe Artisry Palette, and the James Charles x Morphe Palette.
I use whatever black eyeliner I have and glue on my lashes (I use the Eyelure Lux Silk in Marquise Lashes).
Lastly, I use my recent fave lip liner Essence Soft Contouring Liner, the Wet n’ Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipstick, and the Revlon Lip Gloss.
End off with a spritz of Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray!
