Get The Look For Less: Bottega Veneta Dupes
Bottega Veneta,
founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. The brand was passed around by multiple owners until it ultimately landed in the hands of Taddei’s ex wife and her husband. The ex wife, Laura Braggion, contributed to most of the brand’s earliest successes after opening their first U.S. store in New York City in 1972. During the ‘60s and ‘70s, they had opened around 12 stores by that time and created a very strong market for the designers products. The brand released their first ready-to-wear collection around 1995. Six years later, the brand planned to reinvent themselves after their newest creative director joined the team, Tomas Maier. This was when the brand gained established their signature look of realistic and refined. They struggled to keep up with consumer demand and changed directors multiple times. Ultimately, they were restablished again under Mattieu Blazy in 2021.
The brand has been revived many times and is currently at all all-time-high. Their success is owed to their minimal designs and ability to keep up with consumers influences. Their shoes average around $1,500 and these dupes are all under $80. Enjoy!
